ROA’s signature hybrid silhouette combines the features of a climbing approach shoe with those of a contemporary athletic shoe. The shoes’ upper fabric is hand-loomed in Thailand with naturally dyed indigo yarn, featuring a classic check design traditionally used by rural farmers in both France and Japan. The upper is made with sustainable materials: recycled microfiber for the back counter, organic cotton puller, and bio-based lining from renewable bamboo fiber with antibacterial, breathable, and refreshing properties. The shoe features raw-cut label on the tongue made from organic cotton. Combined with a custom Vibram® Megagrip rubber outsoles for traction, and a rubberized toe cap for enhanced protection.
